A radical act…

Here at Dialect, our guiding words for 2024 are Care, Hope and Disruption - and it's the first of these, care, that we are holding onto most tightly in this dark and decidedly chilly part of the year.  

Central to caring for ourselves as well as for others is that magic thing - rest. 

Rest is at the heart of our ability to create, and it's only when we get enough of it that we can really make and connect. In a world that tells us in every way possible that our worth is tied to our productivity - in the home, at work and even at play - rest, real rest, is radical.

So, you won't be hearing about any big New Year's resolutions from us! Just a renewed commitment to moving at the right pace, and in the right direction with our writing for the whole of 2024, whatever that looks like.
