Membership
Are you looking to join a community of like-minded writers for encouragement, support and feedback?
Joining the Dialect community through our new membership scheme is a great way for you to connect with other rural writers, gain confidence and carve out regular space and development time for getting your words into the world.
We have three levels of membership, offering progressive support for the development of your writing:
Meadow offers a weekly online writing hour and writer’s social plus access to a WhatsApp chat group for writers. Meadow is free to caregivers and anyone on benefits (if this is you, please email us on dialectwriters@gmail.com and we will get you all set up).
Moor offers the same as Meadow with a monthly prompt to inspire your writing and 10% off all our workshops.
Mountain offers the same as Moor with the addition of unlimited writing hours and an hour each month of one-to-one mentoring time with one of our acclaimed authors from our GROW scheme.
When? Online writing sessions will take place on Saturdays 9am - 10am, Monday 10am - 11am, Tuesday 7pm - 8pm.
Socials will take place online on the last Thursday of the month at 7pm.

Moor Membership gives you the benefits of a weekly online writing hour, a monthly prompt package to inspire you, the opportunity to build your network with a writers' WhatsApp chat group and a regular online writer social, and 10% off all Dialect Workshops. Enjoy our introductory offer price on the first three months of membership for founding members joining before 31st December 2023. The usual price for Moor is £35.
Online writing sessions will take place on Saturdays 9am - 10am, Monday 10am - 11am, Tuesday 7pm - 8pm and socials will take place online on the last Thursday of the month.
You can choose which sessions you attend.
Mountain Membership is for those who are ready to take their writing to the next level. Mountain gives you the benefits of a weekly online writing hour, a monthly prompt to inspire you via email, the opportunity to build your network with a writers' WhatsApp chat group, a regular online writer social and one hour of professional 1-to-1 mentoring time with one of our award winning mentors (worth £57.50). Enjoy our introductory offer price on the first three months of membership (usually £85pm)
