Who knows who you’ll meet … (image credit: Satya Bratasm)
Writing is a solitary endeavour - these events are an opportunity to meet fellow writers based in and around the West of England* and for us all to build community and connections.
This first, informal session will include an opening panel on ‘living and working creatively’ before opening up to a wider conversation about our practices and works in progress.
For emerging and experienced writers alike.
All welcome.
We hope to run these meetings on a quarterly basis, starting September 2025. If you’d like to host a meeting in your area, please don’t hesitate to get in touch via our contact form.
This event is free but we need an indication of numbers so please confirm your attendance by selecting a ticket below.
Why not have a wander around the renowned Stroud Farmer’s Market which opens early on a Saturday morning, grab yourself a coffee from one of the many brilliant local cafes (we can particularly recommend Rough Hands) and join us for a catch up.

Date: Saturday 13th September, 10am - 11.30am

* by which we probably mean Gloucestershire and the upper South West - Herefordshire, South Gloucestershire, Wiltshire, Somerset and anywhere around and in between - we are an inclusive bunch.
