Join us on Saturday 6th of December at Stroud Market for a morning of writing together en plein air on the theme of ‘nourish.’ We will gather on the forecourt of the Subscription Rooms and head out together into the market to make notes, observations and draft some poems. There will then be an opportunity later in the day at Dialect’s Christmas Party to share a poem at our open mic, starting 4.30pm at the Ale House in Stroud (sign up on the day).

The best poems will be published by Dialect in spring of 2026.

This is a partnership event with Gloucestershire Poetry Society and everyone is welcome, especially if you come from a marginalised background.
